Hello, world!

I’m trying my hands again at blogging. It’s been a while, but I realized I have an ever-growing list of random ideas, experiments, and learnings that really deserve a permanent home on the internet.

As a Principal Engineer who has spent the last 8+ years breaking things across the backend, frontend, apps, and scripts, I’ve learned a lot through sheer trial, error, and curiosity. Whether it’s architecting high-throughput distributed systems at my day job, or running sub-second automated options scalping strategies in my free time, I constantly find myself falling down technical rabbit holes.

This blog is my attempt to document those rabbit holes and give back to the developer community that has taught me so much.

What to expect

I’m kicking off a new series titled “Scratching my own itch!”

I love building toy projects, playing around with AI, and automating the mundane parts of life. Often, the best projects start because you have a highly specific, annoying problem that no existing software solves exactly the way you want it to. So, you build it yourself.

In this series, I’ll be sharing:

  • The random tools and scripts I build for myself.
  • My experiences and experiments with GenAI.
  • Insights from live-trading algorithms and system performance tuning.
  • And whatever else I happen to be tinkering with at the moment!

Stay tuned for the first real post. In the meantime, remember: Fall seven times, rise eight.
